I dropped my I/O Larson Boat off to be winterized and because of some miscommunication between the person who took my order and myself not all of the work was completed when I went to pick up my boat. I must admit that 95% of the miscommunication problem was on my part and not Dan’s Marine. What really impressed me was how they stepped up and took care of me and when my boat was returned the work they performed was better than what I had hoped for. I will be a loyal customer for as long as I own my boat.

I purchased a boat from Dan’s during Covid. That experience was perfectly satisfying. I was paired with a salesman that followed me through the entire process. All my questions were answered and there was plenty of welcome advice. More importantly I’ve gotten VERY good service. On the morning I was leaving on a family lake trip I broke a break line on my trailer. I arrived at Dan’s as they opened. They received me with the appropriate level of attention for a panicked customer. Without hesitation they dropped what they were doing, and because they have a serious service department, they had the parts. They immediately addressed my problem and I was on the road two hours later. Plus their charge was only $350, about half what I feared after all that attention. Truly they EARNED my business and I’d refer them to anyone interested in boating.

Im a new customer and have had a great experience here. Tim fixed my trolling motor and the team over there has been very helpful with all my questions. Dans Southside Marine, Im sure you will see me again because I like to break things!

Highly recommend. These guys are pretty squared away all around. The sales team was knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions. (I had a lot) I live 4.5 hours away but was going through the twin cities for a fishing trip when they were closed. One of their service team members met with me on his time off to fix my speedometer. Very much appreciated. The trailer fender had a scrape in it when I purchased new, which was an issue with me. They said they would send a new one in the mail. Several months passed, I assumed it was on back order and just forgot about it. The next boating season... still no fender. I called assuming since it had been so long, I would have to fight to get them to make this right. Wrong, they owned up to it, apologized for overlooking this detail, and sent me a new one at no charge. No headache whatsoever. These guys put me in the perfect boat and took care of me after the purchase. Cant ask for much more than that!
We had always bought our boats from a different MN dealership previously. Met Randy at the boat show, he made the process of finding our new Tri-Toon extremely easy and stress free. Great guy and extremely professional. Much appreciated and I highly recommend Dan’s Southside Marine and specifically working with Randy.
